EC-PC. Online/Offline Video based Installation.
EC-PC is a public arts project that takes a critical
look at the impact cultural regeneration and constitutional reform (such as
membership of the EU) have upon the experience of person and place.
The project focuses on the tension between the ambition to reap the rewards
of economic progress, whilst accepting the need to homogenise cultural, economic
and legal specificity on the other.
The project asks directly of the individual "what does this space feel
like to you ?". The narratives resulting from this question form the basis
of a visual enquiry into the well being of locations as defined by its users.
